Boulder Heritage Festival

beautiful boulder, utah

I almost didn't go to Boulder this weekend. There were a few parties in town... and I am not that social... so ... I thought it would be better to stick around Salt Lake and be social... Because Kelly was really looking forward to it I didn't flake out. Keri came as well.

As soon as I saw the view from Boulder Mountain I was reminded that I love Boulder... and will go every chance I get.

I remember life being super stressful when I went to Costa Rica a few years ago... and that pre-trip stress was such a contrast to Costa Rica that I actually felt my body unwinding...

I feel that same unwinding sensation when I visit Boulder. It is such a peacful perfect place. I really don't think a simular community exisits anywhere... It did when my great grandparents were growing up... I have read about those communities in their personal histories... But those communities are history... Boulder isn't. I'm not a part of the community, but it makes me happy enough to visit and know that it exists.
