the dressI realized one pair of the shoes was too small, the other too big and the third too smelly… I left work early because the YW were coming over for a viewing of Johnny Lingo… Roommate Dottie hadn’t been feeling well and had spent the day on the couch so I knew I needed to transform my little apartment from hospice to home fast… and maybe make treats… aggressively raced towards home on my bike… running red lights…panting… it wasn’t pretty…
Decided to stop at the DI… got into a fight with the really polite and kind sales clerk… I’m a jerk… I was told I couldn’t return the items, but could only exchange. so... I had a little temper tantrum… It’s embarrassing, but when I am stressed and in a hurry I do that sometimes… you know… when I don’t get my way… it’s terrible and seemingly out of character… but those who know me well know it’s not…
Anyways… I told the clerk to keep my shoes…in a totally bratty way…but really… I didn’t want to transport them home on my bike and I didn’t have time to find something to replace them … rushed out the door… saw a cute African mama with her smiley little girl… I turned around… left my bike in front of the door with the wheel still spinning… went to the clerk… grabbed the shoes … and then dumped them in the African woman’s basket … She looked confused… I told her they were for free… told the clerk I had given them to her… and ran out the door… and aggressively rode my bike home
Kicked poor sickly roommate out of the living room… cleaned house… lit candles… aired out space… and by the time they arrived I smelled like tang frosting (aka wet dog)… and my hair was a mangled mess… poor young women… after Johnny Lingo I tried to facilitate a self-esteem talk… but it evolved into a dating can be brutal talk… poor YW….

You have such cool, little adventures in your life. Sorry about the DI, that is a bummer sometimes.
