Last Saturday night (July 30, 2011) our branch had a talent show. It was supposed to start at 6:00 p.m., but by 6:30 it looked like it was going to be a disaster. No one was there except for a few visitors that the missionaries brought. However the branch came through and it was great. One of the most entertaining LDS ward talent shows I've been to.

With the Young Women I participated in a hula. The Young Men preformed a 'David and Goliath' skit. The young men also did an impromptu break dance. The branch presidency preformed a magic show. Children told jokes and the missionaries sang an alternate version of 'Say a Little Pray for You', while dancing insync... I mean together in boy band style.






At the end the branch president asked if anyone else would like to preform. When the audience laughed he said, "I'm serious. This is your chance". A woman sang while her son played the guitar... and ... the grand finale... 4 year old Mamona sang 'Twinkle Little Star', while the branch presidents 2 year old grandson moved his hands in twinkle star motion.
