Rose or Moses or Jonas or Christian or Larb or Tanya Jr. just keeps on growing... and I'm growing too.

According to pregnancy books he/she is about the size of an avocado now. She/He sits a little funny in my belly... sort of high and to the right. I think I felt a bit of "fluttering" about a week ago when Nate and I were up late talking. Turns out my uterus is a bit abnormal... So our little girl/boy has less room to grow than other babies. This is probably why I felt him/her so early.
We feel really good about this little baby... like everything is going to be alright. Because of my "abnormality" there is an increased risk of several things, including premature labor, breech birth, and an 82% chance of c-section. I can't really find anything credible written about how pregnancy and birth is with a uterus like mine. It is mysteries and that unknown-ness can be scary. I am afraid to have a c-section and I feel afraid to give birth... and I am afraid to do all of the above in a new city with no friends or family close by. If I can give birth naturally I am going to. I have an appointment with a midwife practice in Nebraska as soon as we arrive in July. I haven't done much to prepare for a natural birth and that does scare me a bit. Hopefully Nate and I will have time for a birthing class before little Rose or Moses decides to come.
Anyways, I am lucky that I have been able to relax most of this pregnancy. Of course moving from Australia to SLC and then to Nebraska next month isn't exactly relaxing. I am over the top grateful for a supportive husband who wants me to do what I want to do as far as working or not working. Nate is really so great. I can't believe how lucky I am to be with someone so good, supportive and trustworthy. I hope every woman can feel as lucky as I feel.
I am excited to start our new life in the midwest and we are also excited to meet this baby soon, but hopefully not too soon.
