At the beginning of the month Alice Springs received a third of its annual rain fall in 3 days. The Todd River is usually a soft sandy spot where people sleep. It usually runs about once a year. They say if you have seen it run 3 times that makes you a local. We probably won’t earn that title before we leave in 5 weeks.
