Fall is approaching, which means it’s nice to go outside again. On Valentines Day we discovered how tranquil Telegraph station is in the evenings. Since our Valentines Day picnic we have gone back a few times to just sit on a blanket and read together. We read Nevil Shute’s book, A Town Like Alice. Just in case you were wondering, the book isn’t about Alice. In fact the main character only spends a week in the town. But they talk about how Alice is a BONZA town though out the book. There are some things pretty BONZA about Alice Springs… The telegraph station is one of those things.
